How do I download Manga?
This tutorial was written specifically to help you download and extract manga downloads, and be able to read them after you download them. The manga you download here at NQ Designs are all saved in .zip format or .rar format. This means that you must extract them in order to view them. I know, what a hassle. Downloading Manga is closely related to downloading other zipped files like fonts or brushes. One zipped manga file can contain all the images that make up a chapter of a manga, or even a volume. All those images are compressed into one .zip file, and in order to see all of them, one must extract them. This tutorial will show you how.

Required Programs:
1.WinZIP or WinRAR
(optional if you have WINDOWS XP)
Step #1: Initiate The Download
Go here and click on a link to download a manga. It would be wise to save it to your desktop. The download may take a few minutes. When that's done, you should see a new icon on your desktop and/or a new window will open which contains the zipped file you just downloaded. If a window doesn't pop up, double click on the desktop item, and a window containing the zip file will pop up.

Step #2: Extract the File
for WINDOWS XP USERS
Now it's time to extract the file. If you have Windows XP, then you have an extraction wizard already installed on your computer. The extraction wizard will guide you through the seps to extracting the zipped file. If there are any 'Read Me' files, be sure to read it before proceeding. To open the extraction wizard click on 'Extract all Files' under Folder Tasks.

A dialogue box will pop open now. Click next. It will then ask you to select a folder to extract the files to. To do so click on Browse and choose a folder. Be sure to choose one that will be easy to find. Creating a new folder just for your manga downloads is also a good idea. What I do is create a seperate folder "MangaDownloads" on my desktop where I place all my extracted manga files. You can do that too, if you want. Click ok when you have highlighted the folder you wish to extract the files to. Click Next, and when its done extracting click Finished. Now you should be able to read the manga. Proceed to Step #3.

Note: Windows XP can only extract .zip files. In order to extract .rar files, you must download WinZIP or WinRAR. Don't worry, it's completely free and easy to install.
for non-WINDOWS XP USERS
I don't see the use of explaining this again since the extraction wizard on Windows XP and the one on Winzip/Winrar is so similar... But if you insist. Since you don't have Windows XP, you must download WinZIP or WinRAR. Either one is fine, but I prefer WinRAR. Once you have WinRAR installed on your computer, go find the manga file you downloaded and double click on it. It should open in WinRAR. If not, right click on the file and then go to Open with > WinRar archiver. Once inside WinRar, click on the Wizard icon. It looks like this:

Now follow the directions of the Wizard. When the dialog box pops up, it will ask you to chose a folder to place unpacked files. Click on Browse and choose a folder.
Step #3: View as a Slide Show
Now that you extracted out all the images in the zipped manga file, go to the folder where you moved the extracted files to. If you took my suggestion and created a new folder, it should be in the folder "MangaDownloads" located on your desktop. You should see all the images in the folder.

Note: in some rare cases, A zipped file may contain another zipped file and it's the second zipped file that contains the images. If instead of seeing the images you see another zipped file in this folder, then you have to unzip this file too before you can proceed.

There are two ways you can view the images. Either look in Picture Tasks and click View as a slide Show, or right-click on the first image in the folder and click Preview. Remember, manga is read from right to left, not the other way around.
